Quite often we tend to overlook some of the greatest aspects of any empire or civilization compared to
today’s fast moving and so called technical advances, but does that mean that their contribution to
today’s cultural and technological advancements is nothing , and at times if we come across any ancient
mound or fort, that’s when we relish the ancient times and praise the technological achievements of
that time. But, are we learning some thing from the past and carrying on to the future, or are we
leaving behind some thing very valuable and in the process loosing the very core identity of what
makes the place and people unique.

This is a land with a history dating back to thousands of years . The land which has the longest coastal
belt in India, the land which has the 4th largest port in India, the land which houses the worlds most
visited temple, the land where once upon a time diamonds were sold on streets , the land where
culture and technology run hand in hand , and the land whose language is called Italian of the EAST, This
is the land of Italian of the East
